Six West is a family owned and operated steel fabrication and welding business based out of the Okanagan Valley. Established in 2018, Six West has positioned itself as a professional and reliable contractor with the resources and personnel to tackle any project. Six West is a diverse employer of journeypersons, apprentices and women.
Garrett’s passion for design and construction was fostered at a young age. He started his skills training throughout high school where he worked after school and on weekends at a local fabrication shop. During this time, he quickly realized his dream to own and operate his own fabrication shop one day. This dream led him to earning his welding Red Seal from Okanagan College and Red Seal Fabrication from BCIT. His skills led him to the prairies where he worked in the mining and oil and gas industries. When he returned to the Okanagan, he started his own small business which has been growing ever since. Garrett believes in professionalism, integrity and respect in the workplace.
